Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)
  • 2 limes (1 for juice, 1 sliced for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly oil a baking dish large enough to hold the salmon fillets.
  2. Make the ginger sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the ginger, garlic, soy sauce, honey, and the juice of one lime until well combined.
  3. Season the salmon
Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season each fillet with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the sauce
Pour the ginger sauce over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is evenly coated.
  5. Roast
Transfer the dish to the preheated oven and roast for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve
Garnish with fresh lime slices and serve hot. Enjoy the bright citrus and ginger flavors.
